The LCCDTS works in partnership with the City of Rossland, City of Trail, Village of Warfield, Village of Montrose, Village of Fruitvale and electoral areas A & B of the Regional District of Kootenay Boundary. Our collaborative work with the communities will assist in strengthening our local economy.

We support a wide range of initiatives, including clean-tech and industrial development, arts and cultural events, food security programs, healthcare, downtown improvement, immigration and newcomer support, and regional planning. Projects must align with our mission to enhance economic, environmental, and social well-being in the Kootenay-Boundary.
While we don’t issue grants directly, we regularly help organizations secure funding by identifying opportunities, writing letters of support, and serving as a project partner or sponsor when appropriate. Our support can also be in the form of advice, or exposure through our social media and community presence.
